Our Priorities
Better Housing & Services
Residents deserve a decent home and services that work — not endless cuts and excuses.
The problem
As the council scrambles to balance its books, frontline services have been squeezed: repairs delayed, adult social care under strain, and libraries and community facilities under threat. The people who depend most on the council — older and vulnerable residents — are too often let down.
What Reform councillors will fight for
- Decent, well-maintained council housing, with repairs done properly and on time.
- Adult social care that protects older and vulnerable people, delivered efficiently and with dignity.
- Protecting the libraries, youth provision and community services that hold neighbourhoods together.
- Services designed around residents — not around the council’s own convenience.
